Border Terrier Christmas Card – Santa Came!

Guess who got a new toy for Christmas?

This Border Terrier is stretched out with his trusty tennis ball in one paw and his brand-new festive toy, complete with red-and-white bones, close by. He's looking up with that hopeful expression that says he'd very much like you to throw one (either will do). Painted in loose, expressive watercolour with splashes of blue, gold and green on a clean white background, it's a modern, artistic take on a Christmas card.

With no greeting on the front and just a gentle festive hint, it's ideal if you prefer understated Christmas cards, and a lovely choice for Border Terrier mums and dads, friends and family who adore the breed, and anyone who knows the dog's presents always get opened first.

How it's made
Every design starts with my own photographs of real Border Terriers. I then use AI digital art tools to transform those photographs into vibrant illustrations, and finish each one by hand, refining the details until the character of the dog shines through. It's a blend of real-life photography, modern digital tools and good old-fashioned care, and it means every image is rooted in a genuine Border Terrier moment.
